but not with a pink slip. I have PINK EYE!! I woke up with a scratchy feeling in my right eye, but it wasn't red or crusty so I didn't think anything about it. However, on the way to work it started really watering. I called and made an appt with the employee health nurse practioner. She said I was the 3rd case she had seen today. I got the drops and told my boss. They cancelled all of my patients and sent me home. Now my eye it itching like crazy, but it's still not red. My oldest son won't come near me--LOL. He's a germ-a-phobe. I've been washing my hands all day. Fun, fun. Since I don't work Fridays, at least it's an early start to the weekend!

Oh no!!! Blech!! When I had it I carried hand sanitizer around with me and used it constantly. I was able to prevent it from going into the other eye and from our kids that way. I hope you are as lucky. Good luck!

Oh no! I'm so sorry. Do you wear contacts? Make sure you swap them out for a new pair, if you do. The only time I've had pink eye, I was cleaning and then putting the same lenses in when I thought the infection was cleared up. Of course, I kept re-infecting myself.

I don't wear contacts (or glasses) and I needed new mascara anyway--LOL. I usually get pink eye every 2-3 years and it has actually been about 5-6 years since I last had it so I was overdue. The last two times I had it was the day of a job interview for me (I got the job anyway--no make-up and red oozy eye and all) and then when the church where DH works now flew us down for a weekend of interviews. It always comes at the worst times.

dh just got over it. He had it in both eyes. which is quite suprising his very first time having it and every kids and I get it. but it manage to some how skip us and get him.
