the weather has been pretty cold icy and slick the last couple days. Yesterday was the worse so I made hubby go out get bread and stuff because I don't like driving in this type of weather so today is nicer the ice is mealting so it wasn't to bad but our porch and sidewalk were still slick to as we are leaving hubby tells us all to walk where the rock salt is so all 6 of us are heading out and I get to the truck and thought I would cross the sidewalk to get to the passenger side well I feel right on my rear. all I could do was laugh it didn't hurt at the time but as I am sitting there laughing my 4 year old dd is telling Mom didn't you hear Dad walk on the rock salt. So I get up hubby is laughing DD is still telling me Mom you should of listened to Dad. I change my pants get back in the truck to dd again saying Mom you should of walked on the salt. go to the store get done and we are getting out of the truck to Dd telling me yet again Mom walk on the rock salt she procedes to grab my hand and walks me to the sidewalk were the rock salt is. to funny
