Powerball--365 Million!!!
Come on...Fess up! Anyone hoping to hit the big one tonight? We don't have Powerball in our state of VA, but we happened to be going to TN to the mall to the movies last night so we picked up tickets for my dad and us. We only play when it gets up high. This is a record high for it! We'd be headed straight for a hot beach somewhere! LOL!
We are SOOOOOO hoping Adena!!! We're already planning how we'll spend all that $$$$.
We are also hoping. Wouldn't it be nice
We are going to win. But I told dh he should just plan on keeping his job because we need to continue to live normal lives. He just looked at me funny... Really, I dont want him to get on my nerves all day and interrupt my OPRAH shows. He told me if we win he will take me to the OPRAH show. ;) Yeah, I cant even comprehend that much money!!!!!!!! I think I would still shop clearance racks...
Dang Conni I was going to get some tickets and you have to spoil it by winningLOL DH is not a "gambler" in any way, but since he's away...............................................................................................I'll let ya know tomorrow if I'm rich~~
My two sisters and I have five numbers in the drawing.....keeping my fingers crossed. My 14 year old dd wants an Esplanade or a Land Rover and one of my dds wants a horse!
LOL, Conni. You make me laugh. Thanks!
Gary bought a few tickets. I have no idea if we won or not. I know they didn't pick our standard six numbers, though. It was the birthdates for Gary, me, and Sarah. He probably did some quick picks, too. I would like a house, where my computer could be upstairs, where it's warmer.
Well, someone in Nebraska won it, so I guess we won't be moving anytime soon! LOL!
It's always someone from a podunk town or some place who wins. No one ever wins around here.
Well, clearly these people needed the money more than we did. I hope they do good things with it!!! Thats an obscene (sp?) amt of money. Enough to do GREAT things with for many people and places. They could really make a difference in some lives.
Hey Conni, it could make a difference in *my* life too! LOL I promise, I'd share with EVERYone!
We would have shared with family and especially our church, which seems to be barely functioning as it is, sometimes.
Which makes me wonder DawnK- we are Baptist and a few years ago our church gave out bumper stickers telling everyone to VOTE NO on the lottery. So, if I won- I too would share with my church. My sister always buys our tickets in South Carolina. I am guessing the church wouldn't say no to 10% of that portion.
Yeah, my husband laughed at me and asked me if I thought they'd accept our 10% since we aquired the money by essentially gambling!
I didn't win either. Here are the numbers: 15,17,43,44,48 PB 29.
I won a big 28 dollars on the tickets I bought! I can go out to lunch today...LOL!
That's neat!!!
Hey Karen...I'm from that "podunk" town that and wouldn't live anywhere else.
