The following is correspondence between me and my neighbors. They watched my mom while Connor and I had to be in the hospital all day. His wife even called the Office of Aging for me today and asked some questions for me.
I'm in tears...this was so sweet.
(The first email is from me...)

Dear ***** family,

I thank God for you every day. You make my mom feel better and help her out when she needs you. I love her and I love you guys. My mom speaks very highly of you ALL of the time. She says you are angels sent here on earth to bring joy to others when they are at their lowest.
Do you have any wings? That would be cool. You certainly deserve them.

That would bring tears to my eyes, too Heidi. Such great neighbors. It must give your husband some piece of mind knowing they are next door and care so much. How is your husband doing? I can't even imagine how much he must miss you and Connor.

Yes, they are such great neighbors! My other neighbors are great too...one shoveled my walkway and another shoveled around my car and my car itself. I'm going to miss this place when we have to move!
And, Nicki, thanks for asking...he's doing ok. He really misses home. But, at least he's going to Afganistan now, which is safer.
