We might get fluries tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so excited!!!!! It will be the closest I've ever been to snow. It all depends if it rains, of course, but I am hoping it does. WooHoo!!!!!!!
LOL! Come on up here, Rayanne! We've got about 10" already and it's supposed to snow all day. You're more than welcome to come shovel it. LOL!
I would love to shovel it. I'll do anything just to see it!!!!
You've never seen snow?! Wow! Well, I just shoveled out the mailbox and our walkway and I'm pooped. I didn't actually measure, but I'd guess we got about 12-15".
I have never seen the snow either. I would love to go somewhere to see it! My dh thinks I am crazy but thats because he has lived everywhere and so he has been in the snow and says its not all its cracked up to be!!
I have never seen snow Trina. Well, I've seen it on TV, but that doesn't count, LOL. We didn't get fluries, but maybe tonight Chris said.
Rayanne, you are always welcome to come and visit!
Isnt it funny, we always want something different. Rayanne lives in Florida and she is dying to see snow. Im in Va Beach, and Im dying for 80 degree winter days LOL I lived in the Chicago area for 29 yrs, so winter and snow is not a big deal to me. Now, 80 degree sunny days in Winter is a big deal LOL
Rayanne, What part of Florida do you live in? I live in Keystone Heights. Thats between Gainesville and Jacksonville.
Yes Jackie, it IS funny. We get *maybe* 2 weeks of *winter* each year and I've been begging DH to take a winter vacation to a place with snow. But the last few days it has been cold here, there was ice all over my car this morning. I had to stop for gas, and when I first got out of the car, my hands hurt so much I couldn't stand it. By the time I finished pumping my gas, my hands and cheeks were numb. Once I thawed out, my hands started aching. Maybe I'll rethink my winter vacation idea - cold and arthritis don't mix! LOL
Latonya, I live in the Tampa/Lutz area.
I know what you mean Rayanne. We live in Huntsville, AL. Only 3 times in my life has it really snowed, and by really snow I mean 1-2 inches. LOL! It shuts us down though because we don't have the plows and such to clear the overpasses and roads. Anyways, this past weekend they were saying we might get an inch or two, and I was so excited! I wanted to play in it with Christopher. But, the temperature didn't drop enough and so nothing stuck to the ground.
Karen, Rayanne, Latonya and anyone else who wants to experience snow, I'll trade you a couple of weeks at least, just so you can have the fun of it - shovelling, scraping cars, layers of clothes, etc. Karen, sorry about your hands. Be thankful you don't live here, where your hands would be cracked and bleeding for months. I HATE THAT!! I'm looking very much to Florida in March, and hoping it's not cold!! My mom, brother and SIL went down last week, and it's been cold since they got there. My poor brother and SIL are leaving Wed, and they haven't had a nice day yet. That just sucks!
It has been really cold here Marcia. I'm sorry they didn't get to enjoy the "Warm Florida Weather". What part of Florida are you coming to in March? It's going to be 31 degrees here tonight, and no fluries...again. Oh well. Maybe one day I'll see snow.
I'm going to be close to you - New Port Richey. It had better be HOT by then!!!
It should be nice weather. Maybe we can meet up one afternoon and do lunch or something.
Sounds good to me!
