Bow Flex?
Anyone have one? Do you use it? Results?
We have one, bought it used on craigslist and it's amazing. Quick results, it's easy to use and you feel great after doing it.
We have one. You do feel great after doing it and it doesn't take up a lot of space. I did not really feel like the results were "quick" though. I noticed results but very gradually and I'm pretty physically fit. I continued to use it throughout my pregnancy, too. It's great for that because there's no pressure on your back or tummy if you're not doing ab exercises. We've had ours for about 4-5yrs, so I guess we're kind of "over it" now. Dh bought it originally...he's a weightlifter. He definitely got better results (as far as bodybuilding goes) with free weights at our gym. He doesn't use the BFlex at all now, and I only use it rarely. Like I said, we're just ove rit for now. I would recommend it to others though. It's not really for fat burning though. Definitely strength training.
We *plan* to get one.... I've been saying that for a couple of years. Colette & Deanna, which Bowflex do you two have?
We have the XTL and it came with all of the extra attatchments. I'd look for a good used one before I bought new. Ours is in mint condition w/all of the bells and whistles and like I said we got it for a steal off of craigslist by some college kid who was moving out of his apartment.
Ours is one of the original ones ( I think!) It's the Power Pro with everything...the leg machine and the lat tower, as well as extra weight. We've taken off the leg and lat tower right now because my DH used those and he doesn't use it anymore. Without those, it folds up easily. Can't be folded with attachments on though. I agree with trying for a used one first! We bought ours new maybe 4-5yrs. ago.
