It's just me and my dog...
for the whole weekend!
Ds and Dh are on their way to visit dh's best friend who also has a son about ds' age. Dh works nights, so they left when he got home from work. It's a 2-3 hr trip. They haven't seen eachother for a couple of years. My son is so excited- it's all he has been able to think about for the past week, since they planned the trip. I would go, but we have a dog, and no one to dogsit, and dh's friend also has a dog, and we agreed not to take the chance that the 2 dogs won't get along. Besides, I have a lot of work to do- this would be a great time for me to do taxes! YEAH!

Lucky you! DH has to work today, even though he would normally have off and he is so "on edge!"
The last North/South basketball game in the Armory is tonight. The cross-town games have been in the Armory for many many years and now they are building new gyms, so the N/S games can be at either school next year. So, it's the end of the tradition. The photographer, who normally works Saturdays, is covering the game and Gary is shooting pictures of the crowd and signs and stuff.
He already went there this morning and shot pictures of banners and stuff.
Anyway, the game is at 6 and I can hardly wait for him to leave! Then it will be just Emily, the dog and me! It will be soooo quiet!
Enjoy your quiet time! You'll probably be looking out the window ready for them to come home! LOL
Tomorrow I'll probably be missing them!
Today I did some grocery shopping and took the bed comforters to the laundrymat. I just had dinner and I'm checking email. So far so good!
