My cat must really love my kids
One of the kids (not sure which one as no one will fess up, though I do have my suspicions) decided to trim the cat's whiskers. One side is now shorter than the other and the whiskers above her eyes are nearly gone. But... She now glitters as one of the kids was using the glitter glue and the cat's back upper leg is covered in it. I'm not sure if the cat laid down on the wet glue or one of the kids "decorated" her. I'm debating whether to try and give her a bath or let it wear off.
I am surprised she sat still while they did it!!
She'll probably clean it off herself if you leave it alone..I don't think glitter would be a problem to her tummy, do you? Baths are so traumatic (for kitty and you)! She must be a wonderful cat! (Did you take a pic?)
Depends on the glue. Read the label - if it has warnings about consuming/eating the glue, I'd suggest you carefully trim the gluey fur off the cat before she licks it. I would try a local washing first, just a paper towel or cotton ball with water, to see if that works, but I wouldn't be too happy about my cat eating that stuff.
I'm surprised she sat still, too, although she is a lot more tolerant of the younger kids than our other cat is. She was a stray that we took in about a year and a half ago when she was approximately 8 months old. Maybe she knows how good she's got it now and doesn't want risk losing her warm bed so she puts up with it? LOL I did get a picture but haven't uploaded it. The glue is labeled nontoxic, so I'm not too worried if she does ingest it. Now that I know she has no fear of scissors, I may try to cut off what I can.
Can't wait to see the picture! My dd found a whisker from one of our cats on the couch the other day. She asked me "how we going to get it back on, mom?" Lol. It sounds like you have a very tolerant cat!
Maybe they "styled' her while she was taking a catnap!
