WoooHooo! I'm excited!
Every yr I take the kids to the Arts Ctr to a play or program. I just got our tickets to see *Clifford the Big Red Dog*!!! The older boys dont want to go . So its just me and the little guy. He is so excited. He said 'Mom, Clifford HAS to be real, because no one could wear a costume THAT BIG' ROFL Has anyone seen this? I am hoping its really fun. Lasr yr I took him to see *Blues Clues Live*. It was great! The yr before we all went to see The Mouse and the Motorcycle. and Tom Sawyer... I think I get more excited about going than anyone. Dh and I went to see Cirque Eloize-Rain 2 weeks ago and it was pretty interesting what those people do with their bodies. That just aint right. lol
I love the anticipation of going somewhere fun with the kids. I really need to take advantage of our local playhouse.
Sounds fun! I love to take my kids to stuff like that too. Problem is that it is so darn expensive. Have a great time!
It sounds like great fun!!!! Have a blast, and don't forget to tell us all about it!!
Thanks! Pam, as for price, you are right it does add up! That's why I usually only get to go to one or two shows a yr. Dh did get us season tickets for the adult shows for my bday last yr. I dont know if you remember or not, but I wasnt too thrilled about it for many reasons. lol (very expensive, i desperately needed a jewelry armoire and had asked for one repeatedly since my jewelry was scattered everywhere in plastic bags, etc... and the yr *I* tried to purchase season tickets he said 'NO, I dont want to be committed to going to one of those shows every month'. lol grrr) We have been getting out more these last few weeks. lol I dont know why... But it's been nice. We went to a show a couple of weekends ago, we went to some freinds to play cards the next weekend, we are going out with another couple to hear a band this weekend, *might* attend a marraige seminar weekend in 2 weeks, and I am taking B to the Clifford show. I never get out this much in Jan/Feb!!! It feels good. Pam, you will be glad to know we are trying a new church. I was miserable at our old church, but I wont go into all of that. This last Sunday dh and I were actually able to discuss the sermon and what we got out of it after we left church!!! As opposed to leaving and wondering what the point was?! Which is how its been for the last 6 yrs at old church. Wow, I cant wait to go back this next Sunday and be fed again. lol
