Treats for Kindergarten
My 5 yr olds class is studying space this week and I would like to take them a cute snack but I don't have any idea what to take. I know I could buy moon pies or milky way candy bars, but I would like to do something more creative. Got any ideas for me?? There are 21 kids in the class. Thanks!!
I don't have any ideas off the top of my head, but please ask the teacher if there are any food allergies to be concerned about. Oh, DD (7) just gave me an idea. How about sugar cookies decorated to look like stars, moons, planets, etc.? I have a nut free recipe if you're interested.

I bought plain muffins cheap from King Kullen. I got 12 for $3.00 for packaged muffins. Actually they are tasty muffins. The children put the frosting on it and marshmellows and chocolate chips or sprinkles. They liked it. It was easy.
Dont forget to go to the Family Fun magazine website and do a search as well. I LOVE their ideas.
Ditto Family Fun! When my girls were younger, I was always bringing cool treats that I'd found in the magazine.
Thanks everyone for your ideas, I will check out the family fun page. Trina - No allergies, but I would still like the recipe. I will let you know what I find!!
