Hey guys! Emily auditioned to be in her first play on Monday. The playgroup does about four or five plays a year for the surrounding schools and for the public. This one is called School House Rock, Jr.

She's sung many times on stage, but she has never been in a play. This is an ensemble play, with lots of singing and dancing.

She chose the song "Something There" from Beauty and the Beast to use for her audition piece and after she was finished, they asked her if she had been in that play last year. I hope that's a good sign! LOL!

The cast is supposed to be posted on their website tomorrow, because the last round of auditions is today. Keep your fingers crossed for her! We would enjoy this so much!

We are soooo excited! I have been checking their website all day, and finally about 6:30, they posted the list, and...........

She made the cast!!!!

Yay!!!!! The entire play is singing and dancing from the start to the finish, so she should really enjoy it!

Thanks for all the good luck wishes! But from now on, since she is officially an *actor* I guess we'll have to say "Break a Leg"!!!
