My Dd is turning thirteen and I need ideas. My house is under construction so a sleep over is out of the question. I was thinking of taking all of the girls to Medevil Times(sp) lol
but it is pricey, so on to the next idea....Anyone??

Is there a hotel with a swimming pool nearby, where you could rent a couple of rooms and have pizza and swim? I've never done this, but I've heard about it. Medieval Times would be pretty expensive...how many girls are we talking about? Could you rent a roller rink for a private party? Bowling? We've got a bowling alley that has special bowling sessions with lasers and black lights that's pretty cool for kids.

I know 13 y/o are really into their looks. Maybe find a Mary Kay rep or a spa that would do facials, hair ideas, etc. Let the girls have a couple of hours of pampering and foo-foo stuff.

My DD just went to a party like this and loved it. She's only 9 but the birthday girl's aunt is a Mary Kay rep and presented everything at a pre-teen level.

Last year we did a spa party for Jessica's birthday. It was a huge success. The girls made bath salts, soap & candles. They gave each other manicures and pedicures. They had face masks put on and after washing them off they put on make-up (lipglosses and glitter body lotion). Each girl received their own stuff to use and to take home. The girls are still talking about that party.
