Valentine's Day Treats
I am supposed to bring some treats in to school for my ds's Valentine's day party. Any suggestions? It can't be to messy, these are a bunch of 4 and 5 yr olds, and we don't want to make to much of a mess in the class room. Also, it can't have any nuts because of allergies. The party isn't' till Feb. 10th so i have plenty of time, but i like to be prepared ahead of time.
/newurl{http://jas.familyfun.go.com/arts-and-crafts?page=CraftDisplay&craftid=10286, Valentine Planes} I want to make these for my ds's class party but our school doesn't allow unwrapped candies. Very cute, though, and I liked the "boyish" look to them. It's hard to find non-feminine things at Valentine's time.
Argh! Trying the link again Valentine Planes
All of the kids in ds's class love Jello Jigglers. If you make them right, they aren't messy. You could use a cookie cutter and cut them into heart shapes. I love those cute Valentine Planes. We'll probably make those for both classes!
My favorite Valentine's treat is rice krispie treats. We always tint them pink for v-day. So yummy!
