Maids
I am going to be getting a cleaning person twice a month and would like you ladies opinion of what to have done. Obviously, cleaning the floors, bathrooms, dusting, cleaning the ceiling fans & mini blinds. What else? Woodwork? Oven? I want to have a detailed list of what I want done so she will be aware from the beginning what my expectations are. I will not need her to change sheets or do laundry. I just feel like I am overlooking something. Thanks ladies
Our housekeeper comes in twice a month. She completes her regular stuff & then has a project for each one. She has cleaned the inside of my refrigerator, straightened shelves in the kitchen cabinets, organized a hall closet, the oven and I can't think of anything else at the moment. She is so woooonderfulll for us. She does not change sheets and doesn't do our laundry unless we have something in the washer or dryer that needs to be dryed & then she folds it & puts it on the beds in the rooms where they go. But, it sounds like you have a pretty good grip on it. She sweeps our porch off, too. Good luck & enjoy!
Kitchen:All the obvious plus inside and out of microwave and fridge, front of cabinet doors, oven hood, floor corners, outside of trash can. Bathrooms: obvious plus:Switch plates, door jams, door knobs, front of tub These were things that were not being done by my housecleaner, that we went over just this morning, she's here now, NICE You have to stay on top, I was leaving every time and things were not being done like I liked/expected and the hours she was here was getting shorter and shorter, so we just had a meeting this morning and agreed AGAIN on what was to be done for what pay, I think you have to have these meetings every once in a while so resentments don't build up.
Thanks ladies. I think I can compile a list that will cover everything I need it to.
