ok guys help me to make a list of things we have to do and see and enjoy!!!
we have a week to do it all!
im so excited about this.
last year at this time i was so house bound i coudlnt get out of a chair on my own and walk far enough to the bathroom and then back to the chiar and now im doing VEGAS on my own look out world here i come!!!!

I've heard a lot about the new Wynn hotel. It's supposed to be absolutely beautiful, more so than Bellagio. I've not seen it, but I know some people who have. Where are you and your girlfriend staying?

When my husband took me 2 years ago, we just really went sightseeing at the hotels. I loved the garden at Bellagio (free), and we did the King Tut museum at the Luxor (not free). I know there are some shows and museums at many of the hotels. I think there are tigers and schedules tiger shows at the MGM Grand (free). Gosh, I'm sure there's a ton of stuff. When my husband took me, we had my son who was then about 8 months old so we were limited.

Oh, you will have so much fun!!!!! I've been a few times in the past few years & absolutely love Vegas...trying to plan this year's trip. It is a ton of fun. Sightseeing at the hotels on the strip for a first time visit is the best.

Those must stop places (IMO) is the Bellagio - conservatory, fountains and stained glass ceiling in the hotel registration area.

Paris - a trip to the top of the Eifel Tower has incredible views of Vegas. Cost roughly $10 per person (mahy of went up this year). The walk through area of the Paris is incredible - just like your walking through Paris itself.

Venetian - the paintings & gondolas that run through the middle are incredible.

I actually wrote up some info. for a friend who was going & can e-mail it to you if you'd like. It's just a run down of some of the highlights of some of the hotels on the strip.

I agree with Kate's list. We took a gondola ride and loved it. We also went to see several shows,, a mid afternoon vegas review, second city improv comedy, kenny rodgers, blue man group (very loud, but good), danny gans (wouldn't do this again).

The Paris Hotel that we stayed at was wonderful! There was a comedy club that me and my friends went to last year and I think it was over by the Mirage.
