So...Any New Year's Resolutions?
Mine is simply to be a happier, healthier person this year. This pretty much covers everything including physically, mentally, emotionally... I'm making a lot of changes to my lifestyle, and my husband, as supportive as he is, is agreeing to making some changes with me to make it easier. Just some things that are better for my health, and will be better for his. Remember everyone: Happiness is a decision that we choose!
These aren't resolutions for just 2006, but many are life goals. However, the more mundane, like painting the trim and getting the piano tuned, I hope to accomplish in the next few months. The bigger stuff like Christmas in Vermont, finishing scrapbooks, etc. will take several years. I highly recommend 43things.com as a place to write and keep track of goals!
Pam,we've been wanting to go to Vermont for Christmas for years!!We even talked about trying again this year, but didn't make it.I'm also not considering this as a resolution, but more as a fresh beginning.I'm already making life changes with the way I eat;being more consistant with taking my supplements, etc.I'm very large around the middle( I refer to it as baby fat left over from my last baby...even if she IS 27 yrs old!!).So,this is the year that I take controll of this problem.I saw in Woman's World mag.where several ladies used an herbal creme(Sculpting Gel with DermaFirm)and had great results.I have a new treadmill...a new rotisserie for better cooking...and renewed hope !!
I would like to lose some weight, have more time for myself, more time with dh, and maybe go take a class in something fun!
I would like to loose some weight and spice up my marriage. After twelve years it's a little hum drum!
Wow Pam, that's impressive! It sort of motivates *me*. I think of things like that all the time, but never put them down in one place. Hmmmmmmmmmm..... food for thought!!
About 20 years ago I made a New Years resolution to never make another New Years resolution. Only one I've ever kept. LOL
To lose weight. I say this every year, but this time I mean it. I already joined a gym, and have lost .6pounds, so I am on my way.
I don't make resolutions. It's just one more thing to make me feel guilty. Maybe someday...
Ditto Tink. I'm the same way. Just don't believe in 'em!
I generally don't make them, for the same reason as Cori. However, I decided to make a change yesterday afternoon, on the spur of a moment. I'm not revealing yet, but so far so good. Happy New Year, and good luck on all your resolutions!
hmmm, I bet I can guess Crys??? lol I made a resolution too- Try a new Wine every month and have someone over for dinner once month for the next yr!!! I can work on exercise and lose weight anytime- I wanted a fun resolution this yr. lol
BTW- I am working on the my list of 43 things!! Cool site, thanks for sharing!
Pam, I registered at 43things and made my list last night! LOL
Well I've been sort of on this "bait and switch" thing. I realized my dh is the exact man I married, thankfully! I have "switched" on him So my resolution is to get back to the bait! The gal that was totally in love with him, that supported him, that was willing to have sex in the afternoon or with the lights on, the one that was quite a few pounds lighter etc.
I don't make resolutions but, my goal is to lose weight and I started Curves last month and Im trying. I weigh in tonight for my first time and Im nervous especially after all the holiday goodies
