Bratz question
How old are Bratz supposed to be? Kayla rented a Bratz movie tonight and she asked me why I do not like them. Part of the reason is that they dress way too risque for my taste. I then wondered how old they are supposed to be and I am thinking about the influence they have on little girls. Anyway, if anyone know, please tell!
I think they are suppose to be mid teens although I am guessing. My dd who is 7 loves them. My cousin is in her teens bought them for the past 3 or so years and gave all of them to her a few months ago. but they are to expensive.I also agree they are tarketed for younger girls but they as dolls and cartoons act much older than they should
Well Chloe (I think that's the blonde one) drives so I guess Junior/Senior year of high school? They have movies where they are planning for the prom and such too...so that would be my guess.
Thankfully my dd has never been into them, because I totally think they dress and act in a way that I feel is inappropriate. At one point they had a commercial where she couldn't figure out which guy to go out with, and finally opened the door so you could see. I guess my morals and values have definitely been ingrained in dd, though, because she gets disgusted everytime she sees a commercial or something because of the way they are dressed and are acting...
I'm thinking they are about high school age also..I had to laugh one day last week at work when i was putting toys away i heard an older girl say man i am so jealous of their clothes(talking about the bratz dolls) i snickered lol = ) ... btw hi jenn = ) nice to see you posting = )
My kids are too old for Bratz! Thank goodness. I don't think they like them anyway.
I think they are in their mid teens. My ds loves them! He has many along with many accessories. He likes to imagine them in scary scenerios and SAVE them. He takes very good care of them. He has both the girls and some boys. One of the reaasons he likes them is that they come with many clothes. (He has three older sisters and has always been drawn to dolls like the little Kellys, Polly Pockets, PowderPuff Girls...).
