A friend of mine got this book, Weird Pennsylvania, for my 13 yr old, and I have been reading it. Some of it I had heard about, but others are a surprise. What a great book! Makes me want to take a few road trips around the state. LOL

A quick search of Amazon shows there are books for Texas, New York, New England, New Jersey, Illinois, Ohio, California and the original, Weird U.S.

Oh, and there is also one for Florida. Hmm, maybe we need to pick that one up and take another trip...:)

Well, there's no Weird Louisiana - should have known - *if* there was a book like that, it would probably be called *Crooked Louisiana* - as in *corrupt*! LOL

I have Weird NJ and Weird US. My grandmom gave them to me last year, since we're from NJ. I believe NJ was actually the original, which sparked the idea for the US one. Have you found anything really neat? Most of the things in the NJ book were things I hadn't heard of, lots of stuff from North Jersey area. I want to check out the Texas one, I'm sure there are lots of "weird" things to explore there!

I just looked up "Weird Ohio". I still have a few last, last minute gifts to get. I may get one copy for my mom and one copy for my Brother in law. We are exchanging gifts with them next weekend. Those books seem pretty interesting!

There is a Weird Wisconsin!

Sounds like a unique book!
