Calgon take me away!
That's the way I am feeling right now. I have my friends DD who is 5 here since last night. Between her and my DD who is also 5 they are driving me CRAZY! I never thought 2 girls,5 could get into so much I now have them cleaning up all the toys they have out before my friend comes to pick up her DD at 2:30. What a day!
I can only imagine! I'll be calling Calgon too.....lol!
I've had an extra 8yo girl here all last night and today and I'm on my last nerve. The shrieks and giggles and excluding of the other two kids and the "we wanna's" and "can we have's" are really going to make me lose my mind. Can I make them take naps???
LOL. I know what you mean. My neighbor, who was at my house all Friday afternoon, rang the doorbell this afternoon. My ds's were in the basement, so they couldn't hear the doorbell. I felt bad because I didn't answer. I just wasn't in the mood to have him all day again. Bad mommy!

From personal experience, I can tell you that little girls are ALWAYS into something, they go from one thing to another in the blink of an eye, and there is usually a lot of giggling and whispering involved. With little boys, there is usually a lot of competitive stuff - like video game competetions or wrestling going on, and you tend to hear more yelling. Nerve-wracking and exhausting..........but hey, they are only kids once...... and you can sleep later on, right????? LOL
I feel your pain. We had a busy day yesterday and then my 12 year old had two friends spend the night. You think two 5 year olds are bad try 3 almost teenage girls....right now I am sitting in dh's office looking out the window anxiously awaiting the arrival of their mothers.
