Last night my town Newcomers Club held a Spa Night at a local spa. It was so much fun! For $20 each of us enjoyed a chair massage, a mini facial and skin analysis, a makeup application and a gift bag of samples. While waiting we were served wine and healthy munchies. It was such a girly evening! We also got 10% off any purchases or services booked that night. Although I did not care for my makeup application (EEEK! It was scary! WAY, way too much for me! LOL!) I learned a lot from the woman who did my skin analysis. She said absolutely no alpha hydroxy or Salicylic acid for me. Yikes! Both of which I have been using. I booked for a complete facial with her to learn more. I can't afford the products at the salon but at the very least, can learn what to avoid and what would be good for my skin.

If you ever get a chance to do something like this, GO! I think I'll ask for a gift certificate for Christmas. They do manicures, pedicures, massages, body wraps, facials, etc., etc.,...

That sounds great, Trina! And sounds like it was a bargain too. Gift Certificates would be a wonderful idea for Christmas, but you are letting your DH off way too easy. LOL

Sounds fun! I have a spa gift certificate from one of my patients and a spa day certificate from DH. As soon as this kick-my-butt semester is over in 3 weeks I am totally indulging.
