Getting non water paints off a whiteboard...
I think they're acrylic or oils. I was given this old child's easel for my daughter and I'm cleaning it up. Going to replace the hinges etc. paint the chalkboard on the other side newly black (that spray stuff) and I got most of the paint off the whiteboard but I can't get the rest off...any non harsh chemical ideas or others? Thanks in advance
Try rubbing alcohol. Hope that works!
Thanks! I'll have to try that and throw in some elbow grease. I never thought I should have taken a before and after pic. I plan to stain it dark (the frame is wood) when I'm done cleaning it up. Putting new "hinges" as the ones that are on there are those folding type that pinch fingers..and add some chains for extra stability when it's open and I'm going to repaint the chalkboard on the back with that black spray on chalkboard stuff I have a bunch of paints and stuff for her too! It is going to be part of her christmas present
Try spraying hairspray on it, leave for a few seconds.
Have you tried a magic eraser- it got permanent marker off our white board part of the easel!
Nail Polish remover...I used to be a teacher and used this often.
Ohhh I used hairspray! Turns out I had no rubbing alcohol left LOL It's as white as white and looks like it never had paint ALL over it Thanks soooooooooo much!
Great news!
