OK Ladies! DD's birthday is Saturday and we are having an "art party". Lot of easels,paints, crafts, etc. The goody bags are little tye die drawstring bags with art supplies in them and they will be able to paint a plain wooden frame and we will sanp their pic with a polaroid as another "take home"! I am trying to come up with some fun centerpieces still in the theme. So far I have thought about using old paint cans and puting sand and paint brushes sticking out of them and maybe white lights around the top and covering outside with something like Happy Birthday Zoe! I am still looking for other ideas!! All of you usually come up with some great ideas...so HELP! PLease!

Maybe an artist's palette (sp?) with all their names written in the colored spots and your daughter's in the center?
Or, a mini easel and write down the directions on what to do in the craft? Maybe put bows on it to decorate it?
You could also put a finished product in the center so they could see what the craft idea is all about?

Face Painting would go with an art party.

As far as center pieces I like the paint bucket idea. YOu could even put bright colored tissure paper coming out of the top.

It sounds like you have a great plan.

Thanks- I got foam and I am going to cut it in the shape of the artist pallete and put white X-mas ligts around edges..stick brushes out of it etc. The party is 4-6 so I am trying to come up with something with a little lighting- hopefully this will work!
We are doing face painting as well!!
I have small tabletop easel and think I may use this for a menu board!
I am so excited! She love to paint and all that stuff so it should be really fun!!
