If you could spare a prayer
A good friend of mine just called. She is 30 weeks pregnant and had to have an ultrasound today to check the babys fluid levels since things we're looking suspicious. (To give a little background, when she was pregnant with her first she was in a car accident and it caused her uterus to stop growing and a loss of fluid causing her to be induced at 37 weeks and her DS put in the NICU for a few days.) They think the same thing may be happening with her uterus. The fluid levels were low so they are keeping her to see how long the baby can last in there before they might need to induce. Her DH is a Marine and is currently across the country in school training. I know he won't be able to come home since he's in criminal investigations. But if you could spare a prayer for her little girl to be able to hang on in there as long as possible since I know 30 weeks is really a scary time to be induced. I'm so sad for her. She was nervous about this happening and now it is.
I just sent up a prayer for all of them.Let us know how she does.
Awwww...I will say one tonight!!!
I went to see her last night. They have her hooked up on iv's and are giving steriod shots incase they need to induce. Now, her DH *may* be able to come home. They won't know for a few more hours whether or not they will induce so we'll know pretty soon. I'm getting ready to pick up her son and take him and Kaitlyn to daycare. I'll be with her most of the day. I'm praying this baby can stay in a little longer but mostly just for Mom and baby to be as healthy as possible. Thank you for your thoughts, i'm sure she appreciates it, as do I.
Will keep all of them in my prayers! I had a 36-week baby that was fine, but I don't think I would have wanted her to come 6 weeks sooner than she did.
Prayers said.
Prayers for your friend. I sure hope her dh gets to come home.
Prayers for your friend and gj for staying with her.
Her water levels went up a bit. They are still observing her now to see if they continue to rise but as of now, baby gets to stay. Thanks you for all your prayers. And her DH flew in at 10 pm last night so he's here now. (On a side note, they left us in the ultrasound room for a while at one point. Well, since i've worked with u/s machines, I knew how to use it. I took it to my advantage and saw my little baby! It made my day. I'm sneaky, lol)
