A christmas book...
I have a book club that meets once a month, they are older ladies in Assisted living. They would like to read a christmas story of some kind.Anyone have any ideas? I have been looking all over the net for the large print book of Richard Paul Evans's, The Christmas Box and I am not having any luck,so that one is out........any more ideas? Thanks.
skipping christmas This is by far my favorite Christmas book!
Is there a Books A Million book store in your area? They can order you the book by R.P.Evans.
I, too, love Skipping Christmas!
Skipping Christmas is a fun, fast read! That movie (Christmas with the Kranks) is out on DVD next Tuesday! Can't wait All of the Richard Paul Evans books are wonderful. I hope you can find a large print.
A Redbird Christmas by Fannie Flagg http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0375433899/102-1741182-9029724?v=glance&n=283155&v=glance She's the woman who wrote Fried Green Tomatoes and I just love her stories.
Awww, that's too bad. I loved the Christmas Box. My book group read it once for Decmeber. I actually hadn't read the book that month and ended up reading the whole thing, AT the book discussion. It's a short little book! LOL!
The only book that comes to mind is The Christmas Train by David Baldacci, I think. I listened to it on tape recently with my DH; we had a long drive. It was simple, sweet store, but enjoyable.
Thanks for all of the ideas. The book group is part of our local library and I think the are going to buy about 8 copies , large print for them of The Christmas Box!!!!!I am so excited!!!!
