I've been awake since 2:30 this morning. I finally got up around 4:20 and so far I'm doing fine. I know I'll crash this afternoon, though! I finally broke down and went to the doctor yesterday for my sinuses and he put me on Augmenten, which gave me a mildly upset stomach all night, and Entex, which keeps me awake because of the sudafed in it. So I guess tonight I'll make sure to eat something with the Augmenten and I'll take just plain guafenessin (sp) instead of the Entex. Randy's also on Augmenten for a sinus infection (he had an appointment, too) and the ped that saw Randy is a friend of mine and she took one look at Robin and knowing he's having surgery on Monday said, "I think I want to treat him, too." She put him on Claritin for what she thinks are seasonal allergies. Hopefully we'll all be doing better soon. Randy's complaining his head hurts this morning, but I think he just doesn't want to go to school. We'll see how he is around 8. I don't want him to miss too much school. We did this headache thing last year. It really makes me wonder if there's something else going on. I guess we'll wait and see. So wish me luck that I make it through the day! If I fall asleep who knows what a 1yo, 2yo, 3yo and 5yo will get in to. Not to mention Robin! lol He'd be their ring leader!

Karen, the surgery is to repair a hole the tube that was in there five years left behind. They're going to take a piece of fat from behind his ear and basically graph it to the eardrum. His hearing in that ear is being effected and they said since the tube was in there so long (they had to remove it a couple months ago because it wasn't going to come out on it's own) it probably won't heal by itself. It's scheduled for Monday morning at 9:15 and they said it should take less than 45 minutes. I posted about them removing the tube and mentioned they may possibly have to do this surgery, too, but didn't know for sure until a couple weeks ago when we saw the pediatric ENT up at Children's in Denver. As big as Colorado Springs is, they don't have a ped ENT. Go figure.

Hey-you could have called me! I have not slept in what feels like for forever. The other night I was up taking a bath at 1:30am, then I emailed everyone our Halloween photos at 3am. LOL I know it's not fun. Hang in there.

Thanx, Gals. Amazingly I'm doing okay. We have karate in about an hour an a half. I just have to make it through that! lol I've had a kindergartener here this afternoon that I used to watch but she and her brother (2nd grade this year) have been going somewhere else since July because I quit transporting kids. She's been a lot of fun today! Maybe that kept me awake. We watched Herbie, Fully Loaded. Randy and her brother should be home in a little bit. Just a few more hours...
