I am thinking about buying a baby doll for dd for her birthday. I would like one that is more "real"! Anyone have a favorite or suggestion??

My girls all had a Baby Chou Chou. Those dolls are still around and doing well. I much preferred buying them dolls that looked real and did nothing, as opposed to all of the dolls that did something like walk, talk, dance, etc. They were fun for a few days, and that was it. The real ones were always their faves.

I'll second the Chou Chou, my dd got one at age 2 and still plays with at 7. But I will say that we have not bought a lot of others since, didn't even know they were still available.

DD has the Baby Chou Chou and still plays with it a lot. She's held up well and she has an off switch! Even better! LOL
