Hi Everyone!

Yes I am still alive and doing quite well since the episode with my mother.

Anyway, my husband is being transferred with his job to Meridian, MS and I am just curious if anyone is familiar with the area. He is going to be making so much more money with this move, so I have to be excited. This will take some of the burden off of me, as of right now, we make equal salaries and when I have a stressed day at work, I sometimes feel so trapped.

I am very excited to think that we can now focus on his career and I can work just to supplement, but, not entirely dependant on my salary as we are now.

He will be going over in 30 days and coming home on the weekends until we can get our house ready to go on the market. I am thinking that we will have to work through this probably until Spring, but, it all depends on how things go with our house.

I have never been to Meridian and have only driven through MS a couple of times on my way to other parts of the country. We live in a much larger city now, but, dh says they have a mall and a Super Walmart, so I think we will be alright, LOL!
