Most of what I have seen in costumes and live Snow White's have been black slippers and a few have been red which looks really pretty to me. The Wal-mart has a clear slipper with a picture of Snow White on the toe. And that shoe is what started the controversy. 4 yo dd said it wasn't right.

In the old Disney movie Snow White wears a dainty little pump type slipper with a little bit of heel. At the very beginning it looks almost clear. But as the movie progresses and the color gets better on my old movie it appears to be a pale yellow shoe with a white bow on the toe. The yellow looks a little lighter than her dress.

I didn't want anybody to lose any sleep over it. LOL

Next question: Anybody know where I can find a pair of size 12 yellow or gold slippers so my fashion conscientious 4 yo can dress correctly?

You really gotta laugh. She absolutely cracks me up. I would live in jeans and t-shirts and she is a little fashion queen. Do NOT know where she got it.

Those are absolutely too cute. I'll have to get the fashion princess to look at them though to see if she approves.

The only ballet slippers I saw at Wal-Mart were pink and they also had black tap shoes.

We also looked at Payless Shoes and Shoe Carnival.
