Speaking of Halloween...
What are your kids going to be for Halloween? and Do you dress up too? My ds (4) is going to be the Blue Power Ranger. He is very excited about it. My dd (6) will be Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Lucky for me, i bought her the costume after Halloween last year for $3.00! So she is all set! I don't usually dress up. I always *think* about it though! I am thinking of just getting a witches hat and wearing that and some black clothes while handing out the candy. I also volunteered to help out at my dd's halloween party at school. Maybe i will dress up for that too.
My oldest will be a pirate, my middle a pirate as well and my youngest wanted to be "an evil monk" but I said no, so she's going to be a Ninja or a cat instead.
DD (age 4) is going to be Snow White.
My dd is going as a giraffe (she's 15mths.) and we aren't dressing up ourselves yet but CAN'T WAIT 'til she gets older and we dress up, too!!
Ana is going to be a ladybug. I'm hoping to get pictures to tomorrow at JC Penny's, as long as DD is cooperative. I have a funny feeling we will have many pictures with tears. I bought a witch hat, my nephew will be one on nov 6, so my sister decided to have a halloween birhtday party, so i figured I'll be a witch, it is easy to dress as. My DH says i dont need to dress up. HAHA I'm trying to talk him into wear some crazy wig!
My dd(9) is going as a rock singer. Cute outfit we got at K-Mart. She was a psychodelic hippy last year, and she'll never top that outfit. Ds(6) is a huge Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan and is has a very realistic driver's suit that he is going to wear with his Dale Jr. cap, and a pair of gloves he insisted on having since all the drivers wear racing gloves. He looks adorable! He even has a Dale Jr. helmet Halloween bucket.
Ds is going to be a character from Fantastic 4, dd is going to be a spider and not sure what other dd's will be yet.
Kaitlyn is going to be a cat. I don't dress up.
For Emily, maybe a wizard, yet again! LOL! Sarah has to dress up for a trick-or-treat at school given by the Key Club (High school version of Kiwanis). She wants to be a clown.
Youngest (2) is going to be a football player, my DH and he are very excited. They ordered the costume online today, Georgia Bulldogs. Middle (4) Sportacus, we found the costume last week for 19.99 online we went back to get it this week and they raised it to 29.99. Oldest (7) Austin Stephens from animal planet. Me? Every year I say this is the year I am just going for it and I can never think of anything to be.
i have one cc who is going to be a cheerleader, a son who is going to be ??? and my youngest wants to be the grim reaper. We also have a school dress up dance (story book stomp) my older son wants to be "the declaration of independence" and the young one will be ken griffey jr.
Randy will be Batman and I don't know about Helen. I don't like the baby costumes I've seen ... Ame
Blake is going to be a Horse... ACtually a cowboy riding a horse. Interesting costume. lol Got it at Target. No I am not dressing up. I thought about being a John Deere Tractor- but couldnt figure it out. lol Blake's class has to dress up as *something that would be on a Farm*...
Ohhhh, I think what I will do is have Blake take his Rope and he can call himself a calf roper and I can be a calf!!! I just gotta figure out a calf costume now. argh
He finally decided on Batman!
If I only knew--she changes her mind daily. I'm thinking she'll go with the Princess theme again this year.
My oldest is being a cheetah, my ds is going as Anakin Skywalker, and my youngest dd is a fairy. This is the first year I've let them choose their costumes with no input from me and, other than my oldest wanting to be a vampiress (Yikes!), I was happy with their choices. DH and I have a big Pooh costume that we trade off wearing. He enjoys wearing it more than I do. Otherwise, I don't dress up.
My dd is going to be a medieval princess. I bought the dress and crown/scarf for less than $10 on Ebay (it was new) and it is beautiful! We already have a medieval wig for her to wear. My ds is going to be a wizard using a costume we have in the dress-up box and a wizard bald head and long beard I bought on clearance after Halloween last year for the kids to play with. I tried to talk him into being a hobbit (I thought he would be really cute!), but he wants to be a wizard so a wizard he will be. LOL I don't plan on dressing up this year and dh doesn't either, but some years we do.
Brendan is going to be Mr Incredible, I don't dress up.
4 year old dd will be a mermaid. 8 and 9 year old sons will be grim reapers. Again. LOL.
My dd is working her way through the Disney Princesses. A few years ago she was Sleeping Beauty, last year she was Cinderella, this year she is Belle and next year she says she will be Snow White. I am hoping she will change her mind before next Halloween and be something other than a Princess for a change!
DS (9), who has recently become a Star Wars fan, surprised me this year when he said he wanted to dress up as Darth Vader. This is the child who didn't want to dress up or go trick-or-treating for the past two years. LOL! DD will either be Garfield or a monkey for Trick-or-treating. We're going to a Halloween party, and she and I will be pizza slices.
Emma is going to be a butterfly princess Olivia is going to be a cowgirl Morgan is going to be a ladybug I don't usually dress-up but it sounds fun.
She's decided...she's going to be a bride. It worries me a little--she's been proposed to twice at preschool already! LOL
