because everyone here is getting sick. I have been sick since Sunday. Now today I feel better but have no voice, ( kids love that...LOL

I'm just getting over being sick. Kaitlyn just coughed up mucous all over the couch. DH called with a sore throat. Yup... we're getting it here too. And it's about 70 outside, lol.
Well, it's not getting cold here (still in the 90's in FL), but we've ALL been sick the past couple of weeks too. I think that everyone is getting over it now though! At least I hope so! Last year there was somebody sick almost NON-STOP from Nov.- March! UGH!
Getting cooler in WI. Emily just had a cold. It's getting better, and nothing that needed to go to the doctor. She is still coughing occasionally, but not like she was.
Yep, here too. My oldest has a terrible cough, he kept both of us up most of last night. I kept him home from school today. He was upset that his perfect attendance only lasted a month! My youngest has a stuffy nose and is starting to cough too. Urg...the joys of starting school.
I call it the back to school boogers. Seems like my kids are all the picture of health until the first weekend after school starts and then everyone is boogery, coughing and otherwise sick.
I wish cool weather!! It was 104 here today. It's just not right.
I was sick a couple of weeks ago and miserable but it's still been in the 90's. What I wouldn't give for a nice storm and some temps in the low 70's!
It's 41 this morning in WI and only supposed to get up to 60. I wished I had mittens on, when I was out with the dog. I was even bundled up in my winter jacket.
Dawn, It's 40 here in Northwest Illinois too! I had to turn on the heat when I got up. But, it is suppose to be almost 80 again this weekend. Crazy weather, no wonder everyone is sick.
Well, the back-to-school thing doesn't work for me either. We homeschool! LOL Maybe we caught it from someone at church!
We are still setting record highs, but there's a front moving down and we are cooling down to *around 90*. LOL And with lower humidity, which is a blessing.
Karen, lower humidity will be nice! I hate humid weather!
We have already been sick here and it wasnt cold weather? My ds brought crud home from camp, then passed it to all of us. I ended up with flu like symptoms when my dh was out of town (of course, when else would I get really sick?? lol)!!
59* here right now!! I can't believe it!! It seems like it happened all the sudden too, one day I walked outside and it was cooler.
Conni, I'm having the same trouble with Timmy right now. He has nothing for cooler weather. I'm going to have to soon get him something or send him in a blanket to daycare.
DD has already had one cold and a 24 hour virus since school started. Now, would you believe she has a runny nose again?? I'm doing everything I can to not get sick--especially since I can't take any of the good drugs right now. LOL I do love Fall though!!
