Doll House suggestions??
I want to get a dollhouse for my 3 year old niece for Christmas, but there are a million different ones out there and was hoping I could get some input from people who might now which ones are the best for little girls. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!!!
We love the fisher price loving family dollhouse. One downside is that all accessories are sold seperately, and they aren't cheap. It is all worth the $$ paid. Very good quality and hours and hours of fun. We got it when my DD was almost 3. She still plays with it and she is 6 now.
Fisher Price !!! My niece is almost 17 and still has hers, it folds in half and can slide under the bed. You can add to it for other special occasions, they have several additional playsets and cars. I used to love playing it with her she had gotten so many of them. If I had had a girl this is one of the things she definitely would have gotten. I still remember the one I had when I was little, it was metal, had two floors and six rooms and mom, dad, brother and sister and some furniture. Now you can get just about anything to go with them. Have fun picking it out so you'll know which one to get your daughter someday.
Ditto the Fisher Price one. I like Loving Family Classic Dollhouse. It's much cheaper than the Sweet Sounds one or the Townhouse. As mentioned, the room furniture is sold separately and is pricey. Ebay often has new sets you could try. I like this much better than any wooden dollhouses. The wooden ones just don't look REAL! With plastic you can do so much! The colors and especially the built in kitchen and fireplace look so much more realistic than block wood furniture in a solid (one color) wood house. I think it would last as long as a wooden one, too! Go to Amazon and plug in Fisher Price dollhouse. You can then see all the pictures and read the descriptions and ratings.
I ditto the fisher price house. My dd got one at age 2 or 3. I literally made her get rid of it at age 8 or so. She had a barbie house and a million other things. She kept the people and at age 11 1/2 still plays with them at times (shh!!!).
