Tommorrow night on Extreme Home Makeover...
...they are in Clarksville ,Tn. They built a new home for a soldier and his family. The soldier lost a leg,I think in Iraq.Clarksville in just a few miles from me.That's where Ft.Campbell ,home of the 101's airborne,is.EHM asked one of my bestfriends dh (who is the captain of our local fire department)to oversee this, but he didn't have the time. This should be a wonderful episode.
We used to have a house there....2142 Pace Drive. I loved that town. Hubby was ITO at Fort Campbell. Do you go to Charlie's Steak House near the gate?
When does it come on???
My best friend's husband helped work on this makeover! He installed an intercom system, the company he works for was involved and he got to be apart of the show. I can't wait to watch it tonight. I lived in Clarksville for 6 years when my husband was stationed in Ft Campbell.
Oh Bea, just read your post, we LOVED Charlie's steakhouse!!!!! Always a long line outside, but well worth the wait! We also loved Corky's in Memphis, and right before we moved, they opened one in Nashville.
Charlie's Steak House is my DH's FAVORITE resteraunt !!! He can actually eat their largest steak all by himself!!EHM comes on at 6pm here in TN.Actually, tonight it's going to be a 2 hr special.
We recorded tonight's makeover (too many things going on to watch tv tonight!). I did catch the previews at the very end and next week's is the one that was out here by us!!! I'll watch tonight's sometime this week. Then we'll have to see if we made it on TV next week or not. The boys would love if they did.
Great show last night. I don't think I have ever made it to the end of that show with out shedding some tears!!
OOh, thanks Cat! I wondered if the family with all the kids, was the homeschooling family! We'll be sure to watch it. I ended up watching about half of last night's show, too. I had a few tears in my eyes, too! That kids' playroom with all the fish was cool! My kids would have love to have all those crayons, when they were littler, in the younger girl's room.
