NEW YORK - Britney Spears has given birth to a baby boy, Us Weekly reported.

The baby was born Wednesday by Caesarean section at the Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center in California, the magazine said.


I guess she got her wish, she got the c-section she wanted.

According to ET last night they had "reports" that it had been scheduled for as soon as yesterday. Supposedly she was a week to term.

Yes, I read that she was scheduled for a section sometime this week. She didn't want to attempt a vaginal deliverly because of the scary stories her mom told her. At least that's what they said on ET!

Can't wait to hear a name. I wonder if it will be different, like all the other celebrity babies.

ROFL Jann! Seems really off the wall to me that her Mom would tell her horror stories of L & D. EVERY expectant mom has some fears and apprehension about the actual delivery, and *most* people try to calm those fears. Just seems sort of *twisted* to me. Ah well, to each his own......

I don't know when I was pregnant people were always telling their horror labor stories. They couldn't resist themselves. It was kind of werid.
