This is from a hospital email that I received earlier today:

Please inform anyone interested in donating items that we really are in need of cash donations at this time. We do not need any additional items. Cash donations will allow us to better meet the specific needs of our evacuee patients and their families. We are needing to purchase airplane and bus tickets for many of the families, so you can see how important cash donations have become.

They got in plenty of supplies already. If you have gathered up supplies they can still be used at shelters and children's homes which are taking in orphaned children. If you haven't sent your stuff yet, you can mail it to me (email me at pamela dot terrell at gmail.com) and I promise it will get to a shelter or into the hands directly of someone who can use it and we'll take pictures to document so you and your children can *see* where your donations go.

Oh, you can still send a check to the address I posted previously or go online to Woman's Hospital and make a donation through the link there.
