Has anyone that has had marriage problems gone to counseling alone? Does that sound like a dumb idea? My dh refuses to go. We have problems that are only going to get worse without talking about them. They are pretty bad right now. Dh doesn't really want to talk about the problems with anyone. I'm just afraid that we will separate or divorce if we don't.

We have done marriage counseling, but not individual. I think it is definitely worth doing, though.

Even though we both went, the counselor separated us, and we went at different times.

I have been with dh and later on I went alone. Either way it was fine. I didnt like the first counselor we had. So if it isnt someone that makes you feel warm and fuzzy- then move on to the next counselor.

Good luck... Most people in my shoes would have ran the other way yrs ago. lol But I am doing the best I can for now. If my dh is dumb enough to betray me again (and sad to say its just a matter of time) he is out the door. I figured out this ssummer that he looks up the girls like Paris, etc... 250 pics of brazilian models with see thru tops... then finds me and uses me for sex. I just dont think it will ever end with him. I feel so sorry for my ds.
