Story about Peter Jennings

He was diagnosed with lung cancer in April. He was 67. DH said he was a chain-smoker.

Yea, just saw that. I knew he had lung cancer, sounds like small cell from the speed in which it took him. I believe he has a place on Captiva, where we just vacationed.

I grew up watching him on TV. Wow, 67 is too young to die. He will be missed. Prayers for his family.

I think the article at CNN.com said he quit smoking 20 yrs. ago.

So sad. He had quit 20 years ago, but said that the stress of 9/11 caused him to start again.

His kids are only 25 and 23. It's sad that they lost their dad already. My dad is only a year older and has much older kids! (My sisters and I are 45, 44, and 42.)

Dana Reeves announced today that she is undergoing treatment for lung cancer. After all she has been through, let's hope she has a better outcome than Mr.Jennings.

It was reported that she is not a smoker, exercises and eats a healthy diet.
