I have always had various inexpensive purses. I have never been thrilled with any of them. I am thinking of asking for a nice purse for Christmas. I am looking at one on QVC by Dooney & Bourke. I am open to suggestion as I know nothing about quality and brands.
What is your favorite purse and why?

I like D&B purses. I actually order the TSV on QVC a couple of weeks ago! It was an all weather leather D&B and a big one to boot!! I really like it! I also really like Brighton purses too!! I know others that really like Coach, but I have never had one.

I have a d&b and love it. I like that it is sturdy. I think the big kicker is finding a style you like. This one i bought because it has the two handles you hold and was perfect for my umbrella stroller. I now wish I had one with a long strap, but the same size. It looks almost new and I have had it for 6 years at least. Also i like a nice shade of brown so I can use it all year

I always buy Etienne Aigner bags. I love the zippered Tignanello Hobo. We have an outlet nearby which helps keep the cost down. They last for years.

Deanna, you can get the The Sak purses @ QVC, AND if you have a T.J. Maxx near you, they carry them for majorly discounted prices. You just have to be able to check their stock frequently.

I still have my first two Sak purses I bought 8 years ago for $80 each. They've been washed about a dozen times each and still look brand new.

I like D & B bags also, but haven't found one I was willing to spend that much money on.

I bought a 'Sak' purse in mint condition last year at a yard sale for $2.00,and have been using it ever since.I love it!! Also,I have about 6 D&B that I have bought at yard sales,or Goodwill.I gave from $1.00 to $6.oo for them.I'm planning on putting them on ebay.

I use a leather backpack all the time. I have a black one and a brown one. I have other purses that I use on occasion but for the most part, I stick with my trusty backpack. It keeps my hands free and I don't have to worry about leaving it in the cart while I'm shopping.

I have a few favorites. I like anything by Kenneth Cole: Reaction, Vera Bradley, and my new fun bag is this. I really like Martinis and More stuff. I have this hand bag with a matching belt for Summer. (Although, I can't wear the belt right now! LOL!)

I have a D&B purse that is smaller, but one of my favorites.

The purses I get the most compliments on, however, are the boutique totes I buy off e-bay, lol. Go figure. I've never spent more than $50 on one and they are awesome quality to boot.

I just search "boutique tote" and come up with a bunch.

I also have a black purse I got from Target that I really like. It's a no name, but has lots of storage, yet it doesn't look giant.
