I need a finger food idea

I know this belongs on the recipe board, but it doesn't seem to get much traffic and I'm in a bit of a hurry.

I just received an email from a group I belong to and I have been asked to bring a finger food to an event for the group this Sunday. I am so busy right now between getting the kids ready for school and working that I can't even think straight. Can any of you give me some ideas of a finger food that I could maybe make on Saturday or quickly on Sunday and that would be good (and safe) served at room temperature? I have another function that will last about 2-3 hours before this group event and I won't have time to go back home and make anything between the two events.

Cook cheese tortalli (sp?) and marinate in Italian salad dressing for a few hours. Thread onto wooden skewers. You can add Kalmata olives and/or small cherry tomatoes. Store in a plastic container to bring along with you.

What about a fruit dip and some cut up fruit?

I mix softened cream cheese with marshmallow fluff and add a drop of red food coloring to make it pink. Then you can have strawberries, nectarines, whatever you like.:)

Or an easy favorite of ours is cut up apples with a caramel dip. Yummee!

sausage balls taste great even when they are room temperature.

Easy, too, especially when you use bisquick mix.

For 80-100, depending on the size, it would take about 1 lb sausage, 4 cups of shredded cheese, 1/2 cup of milk, and a couple of cups of bisquick.

Mix it and bake them. They are even good if you make them the day before. Refrigerate them, and the next day, they can come back to room temperature before everyone eats them.

You guys are great. When I'm in a hurry and have to bring a finger food, I head to Costco and pick up something...never mind making it from scratch :)
