Anniversary gift question
I feel weird asking this on the board because it should be something I thought of and comes from the heart, but...I need help thinking of something to say on the back of a watch. I bought DH a nice watch for our anniversary. It will be 15 years of being together and 9 years of marriage. I am at a loss. I know I could put: I love you -or- Still going strong -or- Still ticking after all thses years (not my favorite) Do any of you have a suggestion?
Our love will last throughout all time
or...........*timeless*............
Time made you even more handsome Love you, etc....
"to the end of time" I like "timeless", too.
"I'm yours for all time," or just "For all time."
Those are great! Now I have to decide, do I give him the watch then get it engraved or wait until I'm sure he likes the watch, once it's engraved there is no going back. The watch cost a few hundred dollars, that is why I am so worried. I could always take a chance a get it engraved and pray that he likes it. Wow, who would have thought this would be so stressful!! LOL
Make sure he likes it, then have it engraved. It's like getting two presents. Give it to him, don't say anything about engraving. Then as long as he intends on keeping it, have it "dissappear" for a few days. Then, when it's back and he goes to put it on, tell him to look at the back. He'll love the surprise! Ame
Ditto Ame!!!
You might even want to put something that is only between you and him. For Scott's wedding ring, I put "One Blink" which means "I love you". When we are in a crowded room talking with lots of people and we happend to catch each other's eye, we'll blink one time real hard to signify "I love you".
