When we get home from vacation, we are getting a puppy. It is a little male puppy whose daddy was a yorky poo and mama was a malti poo and is light blonde color. It will be my 4 yo dd's puppy and I want to let her name it. We were originally going to get a female and she decided to name it Cupcake. But after seeing and playing with the puppies we decided to get one of the males which so far exhibits the most tolerance for little kids and is such a lap pup. And I told my dd that we might should reconsider the name. I want suggestions to give her but I will let her name him. I was thinking Sandy (that's about the color of the pup) or Sammy. Then I got stuck.
Anybody got any cool ideas that I can pitch to my dd?

My childhood cocker's name was Corky. I like Sammy. It would be an easy one to yell in an urgent situation, or if the dog is being naughty.

What about Pupcake? That is the name of the little boy puppy from Strawberry Shortcake and is a little more masculine.
