Funny Dog Story
Last Thursday my Big, Bad Rottweiler..LOL...was acting really weird. She wouldn't come when I called her. If I did get her in the house she wanted to go outside right away. She didn't want to go in the backyard just stayed on the side of the house. When DH finally got home from work that night he got her in and laid with her up in out room on her dog bed. She was very stressed out and passing back and forth. Finally around midnight we let her go back outside so we could get some sleep and about 2 hours later she came in and went to bed. The next morning she was doing the same thing so I decided to take her to the Vet. The Vet checked her out and said she looks fine but lets check her Blood and Urine just to make sure. He said to go home and he would call us in the morning with the results. Well that night DH calls Chyanne and she comes in the living room with her head down, looking very scared. She looks up to the ceiling and what do you think she saw???? A balloon!!!! One I bought my DS a few days earlier! DH put the Balloon in the closet and called Chyanne again. She looks around sees that the Balloon in gone and she is FINE!! My BIG, BAD Rottie is scared of a Balloon. We have had her since she was 7 months old and she has never had this reaction to a balloon. So I guess I bought DS a $137 Balloon that is just sitting in the closet. LOL
OH that is the BEST! Well at least you have a great $137 story
What does this balloon look like that it cost so much, or is the amount referring to something else. That is a fuuny story. LOL
I think that was the vet bill
Yes, it was the vet bill, turns out she was healthy.
That is too funny!
lol that is funny, ty you i needed a good laugh.
Thanks for sharing. From my son, co-owner of our Rottie, Sascha: Heh heh... not the weirdest thing I've ever heard of, but definitely on the short list.
ROFL!
Oh, poor doggie! We have had Jasmine a year now, and we think it's finally getting better, but she was really scared of trash bags, especially, when you would shake them up and down, to get them opened up. She would run into her crate, hold her head down, and really act like she was terrified! Now, she is a shelter dog and was picked up as a stray, so we don't know part of her history. Anyway, on one of the dog boards I go to, they suggested rubbing her all over with a trash bag and throwing them up into the air and acting like a trash bag was the best thing. We would also feed her treats. So, I did that a few times and then forgot about it. I was also just sticking my hand, into the bag to open them up, instead of shaking them. Well, the last time someone was dealing with a trash bag, they noticed that Jasmine wasn't cowering with fear, so maybe our desensitization has worked. Who knows what someone did with a trash bag once? Poor baby. I think she is learning to trust that we won't do the same thing.
