We leave in the morning for 4 nights in Disney and then 3 nights on the Disney cruise. How hot is it going to be down there next week??? I am crossing my fingers for great weather, but not too awful hot. High 70's to low 80's would be good... I don't ask for much do I?? LOL
Hi Vicki! Sorry, but asking for high 70's-low 80's in June would be too much! LOL The only way that we get those temps here this time of year is if it rains ALL day like it has for the past WEEK! UGH! The all day rain is supposed to stop by Monday though & we'll get into our normal summer pattern of HOT (high 80's-low 90's) during the day and posssible thunderstorms in the late afternoon & evening. Here are a couple of URLs to our local news channels for you! Hope this helps & have a great time! http://www.local6.com/weather/index.html http://www.wesh.com/weather/index.html
Here's another link. http://www.wftv.com/weather/index.html Channel 9 actually lists chance of rain in percent. Channels 2 & 6 do not.
Well here is what it is supposed to be like here in Florida. I got this off of 7 Day Forecast
Well, all and all I will take it. I know it wouldn't be in the high 70 to low 80 down there. Heck, we are in that range in Ohio! LOL I think I will take Rayannes forcast. I like that one. LOL Not too bad!
Rain will be good as you will get cooled off and it will not be too hot to enjoy the parks.
I'm laughing because we just got back from a week in DW...we didn't tan, but we rusted! Rain every single day, all day. Everyone says, "Oh, it rains in the afternoon but then it clears up." Well, for us it was just the opposite. Thunderstorms, rain, we left for the parks every day wearing our ponchos and carrying umbrellas. Once we got used to being cold and wet, it was actually not bad! We walked onto most rides, little to no waiting, and no heat! It was a great trip! I can't imagine being there on a "normal" Floriday summer's day...I consider ourselves very lucky!
Do they still run the rides and stuff while it is raining ?
Oh yes! The only thing is the parades..if it's raining, they don't do the parades (this from one of the "cast members" at the Magic Kingdom). We lucked out at parade time. I imagine if it's lightning, some of the rides might be put on hold (I noticed this at Sea World). But if it's raining, just put on a poncho and get out there and have fun!
Last week WAS so ugly! I called my sister on Thursday and said "It's raining AGAIN!!!" You certainly didn't get the "Sunshine State" for you vacation! It wasn't as hot though! This week the Heat is on! PLUS we have our First Tropical Storm in the Gulf! UGH!
