Has anyone been to one of their shows lately?? I haven't been to one in years and we are going tonight. DD who is 4 has never seen a circus and is so excited! She is a little leary about the clowns tho. Should be a fun time. Its a Mommy's night out with the 3 kids I actually think DS who is 19 is more excited then the other 2. He has seen Ringling Bros. many times when he was young and he just loves the circus!

We went a few months ago. It was the "hometown circus" os something and was smaller, but still very good. My boys loved it. I was hoping for the big, over-stimulating 3 ring circus though. Have fun! (And they are funny silly clowns, not scary ones)

We did have tickets, but DD decided it wasn't for her when hearing there would be lions and bears and elephants. LOL! The clowns, she especially didn't want to see. I'm starting to think we need to take her to a Monster Truck show instead. LOL!

We went 2 years ago, and it was awesome! My boys really really enjoyed it, and still talk about it. It won't be back here for about 3 years, but we will go again when it does come back.

My boys ALWAYS love the circus. For a few years that's what they got from my sister for Christmas. We're in Florida, so they start out from here in January! I want to go again next year. We haven't gone that past couple of years b/c the schedule just didn't work out to get to go, but my older boys BEGGED to go whenever they saw a commercial! LOL Have FUN! I'm sure all of the kids (including you b/c we ALL get to be kids at the circus!) will have a great time!

Heidi, Would never throw eggs at you , everyone is entitled to what they think or believe. I understand what you are saying about the animals, I love animals to. But I think Ringling Brothers truly do take care of their animals and respect them, they have been around along time. JMO
I was checking some of the links on their website and this is one I found the whole page gives alot of info.

We saw Ringling Bros for the past 2 years in January. We all loved it. If you get there an hour before showtime in a lot of places, they let you go down on the floor and pet animals, balancing acts, and other stuff. So much fun. DD loved it both times.

We go every other year or so. Ringling Bros always puts on a great show. The "Big Apple Circus" is a favorite of mine as well.

Were home and had a BLAST The kids loved it, even Alissa with the clowns! We got there about 1 hour before and got to see the animals outside and then in the rings they had different things going on before showtime. I got the $19 tickets and they were worth every penny. I will post some pics in the morning.
