Has anyone heard from Candis?
I haven't seen her posting today, so I was wondering if anyone knew anything.
I haven't seen her around today, but isn't it Mondays that she goes to the Dr? Maybe she is out and about today and will post later. Or maybe, she is in the hospital!!
I'm here, just got home, I do go to the doctor on Mondays so I just got home for the day
And what did the doc have to say?
In her exact words she said "You're killing me" "no change in your cervix" and did an ultrasound to make sure the baby was head down (which she was) and told me to have sex, and walk a little... LOL. She said she thinks I will show some change by next Monday (1 day past my due date) I am going to walk 2 miles a day everyday this week and hopefully things will speed up...
Glad all went well with your appointment.
Your in the home stretch now. All you have to do now is try to be patient and relax. Just think in, no more, than 10 days or so, at the most, you'll be holding your new little dd.
Have sex, walk, clean, eat spicy food, and drink raspberry tea and the baby will come. LOL! That was all of the advice I got. And by George, she did, 2 days before her due date.
Keep chugging down those buffalo wings! Two miles a day should burn them off and it just might help. Any excuse, eh?
...and do some stair climbing!
Drink some Raspberry Tea. It is suppose to bring on contractions.
I bought some Rasberry tea, but I just bought the Lipton Rasberry Tea individual bags, is there a special or certain type I am supposed to get? I will be on my way out to walk when Katelyn wakes up..
I don't think so. I always bought Lipton too, but the ones in the bottle. Good luck. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
I was told the Celestial Seasons raspberry tea. And there is also a coupon on another post.
Eat Mexican food!!! Always worked for me! LOL
I have heard of people say that pepparoni pizza works too.
Remember not to over do it though, because if you are walking miles and go into labor, you will be exhausted! I know from experience...LOL. Keep a little extra active, but don't wear yourself out!
I started hurting (like cramps) this morning after I did some laundry and a few house chores, so I am going to rest today. I have been better since I have been relaxing though, it's just getting too close to speed through housework anymore..lol I might take a leisure walk this evening. The baby is rolling around like crazy!
Awwww. I miss that feeling of Rylee moving around. She was never a big mover or kicker, so it was never bad for me. I hope my next one is more active.
