DD (Gr. 1) gave me a booklet she made in school for Mother's Day. It's adorable!

My mom looks prettiest when...
- she has her mak up and jewry on
- she wears hi heels
When she is in her bathing sut, she looks cute!
I LOLed when I read this. She said, "Mom, you really do!" That comment made my YEAR!

Things I like to do with my mom
- go to the beche (beach)
- snogul (snuggle)
- wawch nacher (watch nature)
- pick weeds (Really?!)
- play with her
- yal at my brother ?!
- give my brother a wage (Wedgie! LOL!)

That is sooo cute! I love trying to decipher the things my kids have written to me.

I bet she likes picking weeds because it is a one-on-one time where her hands are also busy. I've noticed that some of my best talks with my kids is when they aren't required to sit absolutely still, especially my ds.

That booklet would have made my day too!

When middle ds was in 2nd grade (he is 22 now), he did a booklet for Valentines Day for mom. And on one page it said, "My mom is prettier than..." and his reply was "a pig".

But his uncle had some baby piglets, that ds absolutely adored and he named the prettiest one after me. So being declared prettier than a pig was actually a huge compliment from my 7 year old ds.

DS had to answer some mothers day questions about me for school:
According to him I am 5 years old and weigh 100 pounds. He loves me because I make him Hot Dogs. LOL

When Jeff was little, they had to tell what their parents' did for a living at preschool. His dad was the Chief Engineer/Director of building maintenance for a hospital, and Jeff drew a picture of a train and said his dad was the engineer. LOL

For my job, he said I went out to lunch every day.

On the card ds made for me at preschool it said that he loves me because I am beautiful and he likes to give me kisses! I love this age where you are the love of their lives!

My friend and I were laughing because her son's card said that she took him to Chucky Cheese and wore a cool shirt. She couldn't remember even what shirt it was but for a 6 year old to think its cool that has to be pretty special.

My dd 4 said I make her laugh by playing tricks on her. My ds 6 card was more a fill in the blank. He tried bless his heart. My dd 4 really made my day when she told me I had a really small butt. LOL!

That is so precious. My dd gave me a bracelet that she got as a prize in her class at church for being good. The teacher said do you want me to give you an extra one, and Katelyn said no I am going to give her mine (being as it was too big for her small arm anyway ) Kids are adorable! They both wore their "i (heart) mommy" shirts from Old Navy. It was way too cute.
