Bermuda shorts
I have been so excited about bermuda shorts coming back in this year. I don't like to expose too much leg and the longer shorts really suit my style and my age (36 almost). I went to Old Navy because I have seen the commercials and every darn pair was super low rise. I don't mind a little low rise in my jeans if I can find a shirt long enough (I am very tall @ 5'10", so nothing is very long on me). Anyway, low rise pants make be feel bootylicious and not in a good way. Beyonce and Britney Spears may like their upper cheeks hanging out, but I hardly think that is appropriate for me to wear something like that, LOL! Has anyone been able to find longer shorts that don't look frumpy? If so, please share! TIA
Landsend has some longer length shorts. I have always found their clothes fit well and are of good quality. Landsend
Katherine, at age 41 I can so relate to what you are saying! I will have to check out Landsend. I can't wear lowrise waist at all after 3 c-sections!! Got that belly.....LOL
Did you try The GAP?
I found a pair at Old Navy that I LOVE!!! I have heard that American Eagle has some cute ones too, if you have one near you.
I looked online at some of the stores that ya'll suggestions, but I can't really tell how they will fit unless I go try them on. I did see some nice looking ones online. I don't have much time to shop so I usually go online and get an idea where I want to go, then I go check it out, try on, etc.... I have a very exaggerated difference in the size of my hips and my waist, so I have to try everything on! Drives me nuts!
I have these from Old Navy They fit really nicely except for that you have to buy your exact size, because they stretch a little after being on, and get looser.
Katherine, if you have a Sears by you, I think they carry Landsend. You may want to call and check.
