I found a dead mouse on my stairs! For the past few days, one of the cats has been hanging out around the oven and smacking her paw under it trying to get something. I thought nothing of it and last night DH made a comment wondering if the cat was trying to get a mouse or something. I woke up a 6 and came downstairs and didn't see anything. When I came back up to get DD it was lying there on the stairs all slobbery and gross. The cat has probably been carrying it around all night. I have to call today and have them set traps or something because thats is just nasty and completely unsanitary.

I hate mice, weather they are dead or alive!! We get them in our basement during the winter months! Dh sets traps and then I make him get rid of them. The one day I found a baby one down there and made him come home from work to get rid of it...I just hate them!!!

Our cats killed one and left it right in the entryway for me to see when I came home. It's so gross. Even though I worked with lab mice for about 6 months, I still didn't want to pick it up to throw out.

Eeeeeewwwwwwww is right. I have never had a mouse or a rat in my house. I have only seen them once and that was at Busch Gardens one morning before the park opened. I feel so bad for you right now Melissa. I hope you get someone to set the traps soon sweetie.

I hate mice! We used to have them when I lived next to a field when I was younger. Gross, they creep me out!
