Is it ok to plant begonias really close together? They look prettier that way (we just planted them today) but not sure if they'll "thrive"?

I planted some in Fall and did 7 groups of 3 clustered together. The cluster as a whole was spaced out. The 3 grew together so nicely. They ended up HUGE and beautiful.

It depends on how rich your soil is. If they grow well you may have crowded them. If so, just space them later. They are hardy and will tolerate it.
