Disney Trip
My 15yo dd is on her way to Florida! We went to the high school to watch them load the buses. Didn't quite stay long enough to actually watch them leave, but did get to give her a hug and tell I loved her. They won't get there until mid-morning tomorrow. I can't imagine being on a bus so long! LOL!
She must have been so excited. And at that age the bus ride down will probably be a blast! How long will she be gone?
Dawn, how fun for her. She is going to have such a good time!
I bet she will have a ball.
I'm sure that they'll have a great time! The weather is SOOOOOO beautiful here right now!
Yeah, we looked on Weather Underground, before she went to school! We were 80 yesterday, but today, we are in the low 50's. She should be arriving home around suppertime, on Sunday.
We did a trip with the band when i was in high school. It was a 22 hour drive, but at that age there are no aching backs or behinds really LOL! So it was really a blast! I am so excited for her!
How exciting for her!
How exciting!!! She will have a blast.
I hope she takes lots of pics! How fun for her!
Sounds like fun!
She is back, safe and sound! She had a blast. Took 136 pictures! LOL! She bought us all presents. I got a Disney 40th anniversary ornament, DH got an embroidered baseball hat, and Emily got a necklace that said "riding" with a horseshoe on it and a stuffed Hello Kitty. She almost bought a bandanna for the dog. LOL! We sent her with a $100 and she had gotten $60 in Disney Dollars from my sister for Christmas. She only spent $30 of the $100 we gave her, but she liked knowing she could just buy stuff without having to worry about it. She did spend all the Disney Dollars. She got herself a black t-shirt with a sparkly Disney design on it! ($25!)
Glad she had a good time. You will have to post some pics.
That's great! When i went, i don't remember how much $$ i started out with, but i bought so many souvenirs that i didn't have money to eat dinner the last day. My girlfriend and i had to scrape our change together to buy a bag of popcorn to share! Then we had to borrow money for breakfast on the way home the next morning. Talk about bad financial planning! I look forward to seeing pictures!
Apparently, I misheard. She spent $70 of the $100 we gave her and $30 left over! LOL! Still, she had money leftover! I went on a trip with my drum and bugle corps and my parents gave me $80. Then I lost my wallet! It was awful having to scrounge money from everyone to eat! I told her she should be careful, with her purse and don't leave it sit anywhere!
