What are your hobbies?
I guess I am on a role today but I have another question. I was just curious as to what different hobbies we all have. I know I love garage sales, and pretty much any kind of cheap shopping LOL! But I recently started scrapbooking and I got sewing machine for Christmas and my mom is going to show me how to make a quilt.
My hobbies are walking, working out at Curves, reading, and flower gardening.
My hobbies are scrapbooking, reading and going for walks.
WHAT!! You mean outside of motherhood and working, I'm allowed to have a hobby? lol
Currently doing stained glass. I just converted a storage room into my "studio" and bought all the tools to get started. I am learning as I go. My daughter and I make highly scented candles we call "Mother Daughter DeLights". We sell them and give them as gifts to friends and family. We just had an inground pool installed and hubby and I did all the landscaping, fencing, etc ourselves. Throwing sod really is not fun. LOL. We also installed french doors and I installed wall to wall carpet myself. So I guess home improvement is a hobby as it seems to be ongoing. Next week we are putting together a swingset/clubhouse. I bought a sewing machine and need to make costumes for my daughter's American Girl Mystery party. Now that is a hobby I don't like! I hate sewing. In my "spare" time I read anything and everything.
Working out, scrapbooking, reading, antiquing (not as much now on one income though! ) and working in the yard. Love to go for walks with dd, dh, and our 2 jack russell terriers.

My hobbies are scrapbooking, painting, and being a Mommy. Oh, and I can't forget SHOPPING!!!!
Reading, writing, studying (believe it or not, lol), lounging in the sun whether in the backyard or at the beach, Cosmopolitan, shopping on ebay... I think that's it!
Reading and quilting. I have been a scrapbooker, but I am sooo behind that it hurts my head to think about it. Quite a bot of home improvement projects too, but I don't enjoy the work so it doesn't count as a hobby. I just like the finished results.
Here's a question? How old do they have to be before you can have a hobby? I made some shrinky dinks and ate chocolate brownies with my neighbor and our dk's today, does that count?
LOL Clara too cute hm my hobbies...computers both programs and repairs and teaching others (friends) about them too. I do alot of "computer related" things for them and teach them, too. Reading, painting (art), yard work (currently landscaping mine and learning more about gardening too so I can eventually get one that doesn't look half done lol). I'm putting in a rock/flower/herb garden. ummm house repairs..I do all my own mostly things like ceiling fans and installing shelves etc (I have alot of tools). I enjoy it and do it alot so I consider it a hobbby...refinishing furniture (just my own) baking, cooking, fishing, camping, photography, working out, volunteering (although I'm currently in the application stage for a rape relief hotline/transition house) I've done alot of volunteer work before mostly with children. collecting rocks...oh my!! I think I have too many hobbies. p.s I think hobbies are just about anything you like to do and do continuously so maybe that's why I have so many? lol I think I've turned freecycling / craigslist into a hobby lol...sooo I would say shopping for bargains (I love shopping if the price is right), I provide information to all sorts of people in my life..both those I know and those I don't about organizations in our city who help battered women/single mother's etc. all the time...it's a passion/hobby...being a mom isn't a hobby but somehow I fit that in too
Photography!!!!especially taking pics of my grandchildren.Spending time with my kids and grandkids, going to their ball games("nanny brag moment"...my 8 yr old dgs hit his FIRST HOME RUN this past Saturday!!!!)I just bought a new sewing machine,so I'm going to get back into sewing. And writing in my journal every night. But,actually,at 51,I think that is more out of necessity, than fun!!! lol
I love to read. I'm learning how to crochet and I work out at Curves. I also have a blog but I only do that a couple of times per week. *blushing*I watch waaay too much tv.
Oh dear! I don't kow, i love to read and i like doing research for my assignments. Oh! I know what i really really like and you can call that a hobbie, i love to buy a magazine called Living Etc... which is about interior design and of course i love all those makeover or property shows (well most of them really). I also like to daydream about what i'd do my house if it was my own. I sometimes draw plans for the house we will build (can you tell i'm a bit obsessed?). Honestly i have always liked architecture and interior design, never went into it though Also, i don't know if you can call that a hobbie but i love eating out and finding unique little restaurants where you can eat good food for not a lot of money.
My hobbies are planting and gardening in the spring and summer and being a little league and soccer mom
My hobbies - Painting, gardening, shopping, 4-wheeling, hiking, and remodeling. We remodeled the last house we bought & have done "theme rooms" for the kids at our latest house. It's great to take one of the kid's ideas & create it into a world of their own. I've got a new camera coming in today - so I'm hoping to add photography to my list.
Playing on the computer! LOL! Working on my webpage, reading, knitting a little bit, sewing a little bit and gardening!
photography and i used to scrapbook but haven't done that in a long time i'm just not that creative lol = )
Wanda have you got a site or anything set up to share your pics i would love to see some i don't have anything set up yet..
I USED to have hobbies - before kids. I sang opera, I worked out seroiusly, I went to the theatre. Now, my hobbies are limited to anything I can complete in 5 min AND I love it! I wouldn't trade my life for anything else. Ame
